Fitted this to my VW Golf one.6 16v as acquiring breathing troubles. I can honestly say it really is the greatest £255 I have spent. The car not only runs great now but consider the revs to three-4k and the auto growls like no other. It seriously has improved the efficiency not only in the large revs but lower end as well. Would definately advise to other VW Golf end users.

Initial up is the dyno testing. Testing was accomplished at a total working temperature. The Steeda Cold Air is shown in run amount 1. We then promptly eliminated the Steeda cold air , put in the competitor ‘J' cold air and set up a new tune that only accounted for the airflow curve of the competitors cold air, all other parameters together with ignition and camshaft timing remained the exact same.

Rated five out of five by Wonderful from Roush - CAI Excellent luck finding the 10mm nut eliminated to consider out the sound tube. After the sound tube has been eliminated every thing else was easy to install and a ideal match. With the removal of the sound tube there is much less noise coming in the cabin and it cleaned up the engine compartment.

The kit from injen contains an intriguing stepped consumption tube and distinctive diamondplate- styled shield- presumably to keep water, mud, and grime off the filter. The shield will secure it from debris thrown from the fan. This kit misplaced points on the set up since it didn't involve a pCV hose (which usually means we had to drive to get one), and mainly because it did not include a block-off plug exactly where that air sensor goes in the '05 and '06 Jeeps. We had to steal a block-off from a different kit for the dyno pulls.
