The Yamaha XJ series was produced from 1981 until 1991 after that it was replaced with the Yamaha Diversion. It is a lightweight bike weighing only 500 pounds, by having an in line fore cylinder engine which is one with the first bikes to get a mono rear suspension. Today these are relatively cheap to get and serve as great bikes for getting around town or addressing and from work.

But remember once you purchase one it doesn't matter how good it's from the outside or how well it drives that you will be going to own to repair or pay to have repaired with in weeks or months.
