You see, if adequate strain builds up there, no movement however the heat exchanger can happen at all. Of course, the designers make absolutely sure that there are sufficient air exits behind the radiator that the pressure is constantly reduced than in front of the core - but the same isn't normally the situation with aftermarket intercooler installations!
