Amplifier, inspect! Burial grade speaker wire. what? You indicate you purchased simply basic speaker wire from the store? This will never do! Sure it might work for a while, however soon the elements will deteriorate it and it will break. Soon as it does you got a short concern that can result in a blown speaker. Or even worse, a blown amplifier!
