3. Carefully bind your cables and cords. Bread ties are perfect and cheap for this. Loosely roll your cords and cables into figure eights. Not too tight, while you don't wish to break them. Wrap a bread tie around each bundle. Now you may have no tangled cords to cope with when you get in your destination. This will also help ease the packing.
