The argument between horsepower and torque is fully retarded. Torque is the only actual force created by an engine. Horsepower is a function torque at rpm. (tqrpm)/5252 is the calculation. Bear in mind from high school physics that energy equals get the job done more than time. Get the job done is torque and time is rpm.
